I ran numerous digital projects and was required to be both a maker and a manager on website projects, email marketing campaigns and social media campaigns. I was required to develop and use skills across project management, copywriting, digital design and data analytics, working with both corporate and small business customers.
Internal marketing was a key component of my role, but this began with establishing our overall brand direction and implementing this across the business. This involved working with a branding agency and designers, but I was ultimately responsible for lifting the overall quality standards of our client facing assets. This including proposals, marketing material and presentations, which I was regularly required to create for the business.
Part of my role included operational activities such as process creation and workflow simplification, and my interest in technology products led me to introduce a variety of applications to improve our business. Whilst a number of tools did not work for our team (I’m looking at you Wrike!), many of the tools I championed and implemented, are now being used regularly across sales, project management, design and marketing.
